Location
Located on the eastern part of the northern
Greek town of Veria and only five minutes away from the Egnatia Highway, the
four-star Aiges Melathron Hotel opened its doors in December 2001. Situated
near the archaeological site of Dion, King Philip’s tombs in Vergina, Dion, the
59 Byzantine churches, the Mieza where Aristotle’s school is located and the
Macedonian tombs of Lefkadia, the hotel combines warm hospitality with easy

Housed in an elegant neoclassical building, the hotel’s 51 spacious
guestrooms and 3 suites are individually decorated and appointed with modern
amenities including: telephone with ISDN, Internet access, Satellite TV, safe,
A/C, private balcony and bath with hair dryer. There are two Junior and one
Presidential suites offering additional amenities, such as private patio with
beautiful view, sitting and dining (Presidential suite) areas, writing desk,
and a second bathroom. The rooms are handicap accessible, four of them equipped
for people with mobility difficulties.
