TRAINING CENTRE

The Training Centre is housed in a modern building designed and constructed to meet the needs of training programmes, with classrooms and lounges that conform to international standards (floor area per student, colours schemes, lighting, and air-conditioning). Its infrastructure provides excellent conditions for training, learning and personal development. The facilities include:

CONFERENCE CENTRE

The Conference Centre consists of two functional areas in grounds of 1.5 hectares. It can handle over 700 persons a day and offers a comprehensive range of services, including catering, as well as accommodation for 150 persons. Well-kept, easily accessible recreation areas and an acre of pinewoods surround it.

The Conference Centre has been designed and built with consideration and the utmost respect for the environment and human needs. With its bright, sunny and spacious conference rooms, lounges and dining rooms, it is in tune with the clients’ spirit of business practice and gives added value to their event. The gardens and underground parking add greatly to the convenience of those attending events here. The facilities available include:

HOSPITALITY

An integral part of the ATExcelixi complex is the historic Kastri Hotel, consisting of the Zeus Wing and the Hera Wing. The hotel, like the rest of the Centre, stands in a guarded compound. Together with the surrounding area (Kastri), it is an oasis of tranquillity and security only a few miles from the centre of Athens. Delegates feel uplifted by its acre of pinewoods and its well-tended gardens. Overall, it provides an ideal setting for people attending seminars, conferences and other events.

 

ROOM AND BOARD

• The Zeus Wing has thirty attractive, sunny single rooms with direct access to the Conference Centre – a great attraction for the organizers, teaching staff and attendees of conferences, seminars and other events.
• The Hera Wing has 46 double and 23 single rooms. All rooms are large, sunny and fully equipped, with windows looking out towards Mount Parnitha, Mount Pendeli or the well-kept gardens and pinewoods. The hotel’s public rooms are spacious, accessible and well designed.
• The hotel has a cafeteria-bar with a veranda overlooking the gardens and two restaurants with a seating capacity of up to 300. With its elevated verandas, gardens and pinewoods, it provides an ideal setting for meals and other functions such as cocktail parties, receptions, business lunches, banquets and special events.
• The hotel offers a wide variety of à la carte menus, special menus and buffet meals to hotel guests and those attending the Training and Conference Centres, served either in the restaurants or in the lecture and conference rooms. The menus can be adapted to the client’s taste and the particular needs of each event.

The Training and Conference Centre it is easily accessible from:

• The Athens-Thessaloniki A1 National Road: take the Varimbobi exit and follow Ayion Saranda Street
• The Attiki Odos motorway: take Exit 11 and follow Leoforos Kifissias through Kifissia to Nea Erythrea
• The Piraeus-Kifissia line (Line 1) of the Metro : alight at Kifissia and then either take an A7, 507, 508, 509, 535 or 536 bus to the Kastri bus stop, or take a taxi. (ATExcelixi is 3 km from the centre of Kifissia)
• Athens city centre by the A7 bus (direct)
• Eleftherios Venizelos Airport via the Attiki Odos.
