Profile
The National Bank of Greece (NBG) Training Centre S.A. was established in 1995 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Greece. The NBG Training Centre is active in two main spheres: First, as a regional vocational training body, accredited by the National Accreditation Centre for Continuing Vocational Training of Greece it offers vocational training services. Second, as a purpose-built venue it hosts conferences, business meetings and events. It is located in Glyfada, a short distance along the coast from Athens.

Company Vision
The company vision is to be recognised both nationally and internationally as a cutting-edge vocational training organisation and a state-of-the-art venue for hosting conferences and events. Our mission is:
“To offer our customers top quality services that meet their training needs effectively and efficiently, and to provide skilled support for corporate and conference events hosted here. The quality, effectiveness and adaptability of our services to the requirements of our customers are among our key aspirations”.

Quality control policy
The Training Centre runs a quality assurance system in line with ISO 9001-2000. It has also received accreditation from the National Accreditation Centre for Continuing Vocational Training. Thanks to these measures, quality assurance and customer satisfaction are kept at the centre of our focus, as we set our targets, and carry out our controls and evaluations.

The Building Complex
The NBG Training Centre is an architectural jewel. The facilities and their layout, the décor, including works by artists of the Athens School of Fine Arts, and the cutting-edge infrastructure, all make the Training Centre one of the best training and conference units in Greece, on a par with the best in Europe.
The Centre’s floor-space covers a total area of 7,300 square meters on various levels, including a three-story guesthouse, an underground car park and gardens.
The Centre’s facilities conform to international standards vis-à-vis comfort and security and are equipped with state-of-the-art computer and audiovisual aids that can host a wide range of training, conference and exhibition events.
The Centre’s rooms are located on the ground floor and include:
• Two large conference halls: ARISTOTLE conference hall with seating capacity of 300 and the PLATO conference hall with seating capacity of 100.  Both these halls can be united to create a single jumbo-hall of over 400 seats if required.
• Seven training rooms with a seating capacity of 25-50, specially designed to cater for workshops and fully equipped with teaching aids.

 Parking Facilities
The Training Centre has an underground car park for 40 ordinary cars and 2 spaces for the disabled. Twenty more spaces are available outdoors, while parking can also be found easily outside the Centre’s premises

 Disabled Access
Of prime concern is to offer quality services to all the guests. People with mobility difficulties may easily access the Centre’s facilities. Special ramps at the building’s entrance and indoors enable easy access to the rooms and facilities.   Furthermore, a room suitable for people with special needs is located on the first floor of the guesthouse.

Security
The Training Centre premises are equipped with state-of-the-art security systems guarding the Centre and its guests round the clock.

Environment
