Profile
The
National Bank of Greece (NBG) Training Centre S.A. was established in 1995 and
is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Greece. The NBG Training Centre
is active in two main spheres: First, as a regional vocational training body,
accredited by the National Accreditation Centre for Continuing Vocational
Training of Greece it offers vocational training services. Second, as a
purpose-built venue it hosts conferences, business meetings and events. It is
located in Glyfada, a short distance along the coast from Athens.

The
company vision is to be recognised both nationally and internationally as a
cutting-edge vocational training organisation and a state-of-the-art venue for hosting
conferences and events. Our mission is:

effectively and efficiently, and to provide skilled support for corporate and
conference events hosted here. The quality, effectiveness and adaptability of
our services to the requirements of our customers are among our key

Quality control policy
The
Training Centre runs a quality assurance system in line with ISO 9001-2000. It
has also received accreditation from the National Accreditation Centre for
Continuing Vocational Training. Thanks to these measures, quality assurance and
customer satisfaction are kept at the centre of our focus, as we set our
targets, and carry out our controls and evaluations.

The Building Complex
The NBG
Training Centre is an architectural jewel. The facilities and their layout, the
décor, including works by artists of the Athens School of Fine Arts, and
the cutting-edge infrastructure, all make the Training Centre one of the best
training and conference units in Greece, on a par with the best in Europe.
The Centre’s floor-space covers a total area of 7,300 square meters on various levels, including a three-story guesthouse, an underground car park
and gardens.
The Centre’s facilities conform to international standards vis-à-vis
comfort and security and are equipped with state-of-the-art computer and
audiovisual aids that can host a wide range of training, conference and
exhibition events.
The Centre’s rooms are located on the ground floor and include:
• Two large conference halls: ARISTOTLE conference hall with seating capacity
of 300 and the PLATO conference hall with seating capacity of 100. Both
these halls can be united to create a single jumbo-hall of over 400 seats if
required.
• Seven training rooms with a seating capacity of 25-50, specially designed to
cater for workshops and fully equipped with teaching aids.
Parking Facilities
The Training Centre has an underground car park for 40 ordinary cars and 2
spaces for the disabled. Twenty more spaces are available outdoors, while
parking can also be found easily outside the Centre’s premises
Disabled Access
Of prime concern is to offer quality services to all the guests. People
with mobility difficulties may easily access the Centre’s facilities. Special
ramps at the building’s entrance and indoors enable easy access to the rooms
and facilities. Furthermore, a room suitable for people with
special needs is located on the first floor of the guesthouse.
Security
The
Training Centre premises are equipped with state-of-the-art security systems
guarding the Centre and its guests round the clock.
Environment
The
Centre is committed to respecting and protecting the environment. To this end,
a program has been developed for the effective management and the reduction of
energy and natural resource consumption, as well as the promotion of recycling
and less waste production.
